Sliding fee discount program: Payment schedules are established by income and family size. Payments for medical is as low as $20 per visit and dental is as low as $40 per visit. Billing staff works with patients to place them on a payment plan. No patient is denied service because of his or her inability to pay. Untreated dental disease continues to be a problem in the areas served at both clinic sites. OCHC has full service dental clinics at both sites. OCHC has been expanding its outreach through such initiatives as the Happy Smiles Program, working with the United Way, St. Paul Public Schools and Twin Cities Healthy Start to provide outreach and services to children in the OCHC service areas.

OCHC has dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and dental outreach that provide care to individuals and families. Dr. Brian Quinlan is OCHC\'s dental director.

OCHC offers the following dental services:
Exams, digital X-rays
Prophylaxis (cleanings), fluoride treatments, oral hygiene instruction
Periodontal therapy (deep cleanings)
Restorative care (fillings, crowns)
Full & partial dentures
Endodontic therapy (root canals)
Extractions (tooth removal)

OCHC participates in Oral Health Education, Screenings and Outreach Screenings
OCHC holds free screenings at these locations: Churches, daycare centers, Head Start, health fairs, home visits, Hubbs Learning Center, Liberty Plaza housing complex and other community locations. The clinic has a pediatrics mobile dental unit that is brought to all sites, except for home visits. The dental hygienist performs the screening.
