I am in desperate need of help.My jaw bone has deteriorated so much over the last 8 yrs I’ve only got 2 mm of bone left which is causing nerve compression constant pain. I have dentures I’m 45 yrs old otherwise in perfect health don’t smoke drink was working out eating clean. Due to the nerve pain I can’t eat chew an I’ve lost 30 lbs. saw an oral sugeron that said I need the bone taken from my hips then placed in lower & upper jaw, giving my bone needed so I can then have denture implants that will keep the bone from deteriorating again so I can eat an get my quality of life back! I have medical ins but they denied paying for this. I’m desperate to get this done. I’m so afraid I’m going to fall shatter my bone or be trying to chew an have it break. Oral sugeron said longer I go more bone loss I will have more work to do. I will do anything to beable to eat and not be in constant pain and have teeth . My confidence is shot! I can’t even wear the bottom dentures I force myself to wear the top! I refuse to go in public w no teeth.
