I first went to dental clinic emergency appt on a Saturday morning with gum and tooth pain. I was seen in a prompt and professional manner. The dentist talked with me about the possible problem and would take some x-rays and then consult with me. After the film was read the dentist explained I had an infection and would then need a root canal. With this being my first experience at the dental clinic I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. I must say I was put at ease right from the beginning and that I made a wise choice to use the emergency services the clinic provides (note: it was a Saturday, and most dental services not available on week-end, would probably have to go to ER). Having said that I left with a prescription for anti-biotics and advised to try to make an appt. for a root canal. At the desk they were able to schedule me for the following Thursday to be seen by the Endodontis. I returned to the clinic as scheduled and had a very pleasant, comforting, and pain free procedure begun by Dr. Rosario. He was a true professional and explained that he would begin the procedure but it would be done in a series of appts. Yesterday I had my second visit with Dr. Rosario and once again he was a consummate professional, treating me with his gentle manner assuring me I would not have to endure any discomfort, just raise my lefty hand if I did. Fortunately for me it was a painless day in the dentist chair. As I was leaving Dr. Rosario explained that after novacain wore off the tooth and gum may be sensitive and instructed me to use Motrin as soon as I got home, which I did. I write here to give the overall clinic experience a 10.
