All youth at CHNY are provided with access to comprehensive medical care at CHNYs on-site, full-service Health and Wellness Center. Services are offered at no cost or on a sliding-scale basis to anyone regardless of age, socio-economic status, race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, physical ability, or language. Services include pediatric and adult primary care, gynecological care, pre- and post-natal care, STD and HIV screening, mental health care, case management, health education, drug awareness and education, and substance abuse assessments. The Health and Wellness Center provides referrals to partner health providers for substance abuse treatment, severe and persistent mental health support, dental and vision services, and other specialized care as appropriate. The Health and Wellness Center aims to increase awareness of and address the health needs of youth, as well as encourage youth to develop and practice healthy living habits and prevention skills. Many of our Dental Clinics are free and/or government supported. Many are sliding scale dental care for low income. Please call the dental clinics or visit the websites of the dentists to cofirm that these clinics are free or low cost to the needy. We do our best to provide a helpful low cost and free dental services. Always confirm directly with the dental clinis to confirm that our information is up to date.
