The Spray and Mitchell sites are each open two days per week for primary outpatient care and for dental services with contracted dentists on varying days and times. ACHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This means that it receives some of its funds from the federal government in order to provide low cost health careto low-income people. This does not mean that ACHC is a free clinic. The federal government expects them to charge for services. Any insurance will bebilled. However, charges for low income patients are reduced based on incomeand family size. Those who fall at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Levelpay only $25 per visit whether the visit is for medical or dental services. Persons between 100% and 200% of the federal poverty level have a lesserdiscount. To see if you and your family qualify for reduced fees bring the past3 months pay stubs or the most recent tax return when registering as patients. This information must be updated annually to continue to qualify.
